Bahamas - Nassau - Stuart Cove's Dive the Bahamas- Jan 5th to Jan 9th, 2008 or Jan 5th to Jan 12th, 2008
Two tank dive trips start along a beautiful wall that begins at 35' and drops off dramatically to 6000' into the Tongue-of-the-Ocean. Colourful coral formations and schools of exotic fish are just some of the diverse marine life you will see. Your second dive will be a beautiful shallow reef or a shipwreck. Choose from 5 days/4 nights or 8days/7nights. All prices are for double occupancy. Diver for 4 nights with 3 days of 2 tanks, weights, and transfers is $779.00. Non-Diver is $445.00. Diver for 7 nights with 6 days of 2 tank scuba dives with tanks, weights, and transfers is $1,162.00. Non-Diver is $779.00. We are staying at the Wyndham Hotel on Cable Beach with offer a large choice of restaurants and shopping. Round trip air fare is additional. Georgetown, Exuma - June 5th to June 14th, 2008- FUll
Dive the Southern Exuma Cays, trip leaves from Georgetown, Great Exuma and goes south to Conception and other Southern Bahama Islands. 9 Nights and 8 dive days. Wall dives with swim through tunnels, wrecks and reefs. Cost is $1952.20 plus air fare to Georgetown (Estimated at $670.00).
Puerto Rico - LaParquera - July 5th to July 12th, 2008
Diving consists of virgin wall dives for the first dive, with reefs of 50 to 60 feet for the second dive. Over 30 dive sites to choose from. No ship wrecks here, but black coral bushes start at 90 feet on the wall. Water temperatures are in the mid 80's. We will be in LaParquera on the south, a one hour drive west from Ponce, Puerto Rico's second largest city. The price includes double occupancy up grade room with air conditioning and cable TV. American breakfast everday, two dinners ,room tax, and six days of two scuba dives with refreshments and snacks. Diver is $811.00. Non-diver is $438.00. Additional expenses include R/T air fare and shared car rental. Nitrox available: 2-80 cu ft. Tanks at 30% for $14.00 plus tax.
Raja Ampats, Indonesia - July 15th to July 25th, 2008
Join the adventure and become an active part of the research team. Travel to exotic seldom seen locations. Watch rare nearly extinct leatherback turtles lay egs and hatch. Dive the legendary Raja Ampats aboard a large, comforable, fully equiped ship: a classic Indonesian Phinsi design with all amenities a diver would hope for. Cost is $2600 per person, plus air fare to Sorong, Indonesia. Participation means, all expendition fee, airfare, hotels, and meals are 100% tax deductible(S.O.L.O. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt foundation.) The trip will take approximately 13 days with travel time.
Philippines - end of Septemeber-October 2008
Diving at Puerto Galera, Mindoro Island and Dumaguete, Negros Island. Loads of small stuff, for the photographers, and plenty of large fish at dive sites such as APO Island. Stay will be at Atlantis Resorts, and will include all meals, diving, airfare, transfers, etc (Tips not included.) Trip will be for 14 to 16 days in length and cost is estimated at $3800.00 per person. Negotiations are still taking place, so dates aren't fir. THe water is in the low 80's, the accommodations are beautifull, meals wonderfull, with large variety available.
Japan - Yonaguni and Ishigaki - May 2009
Diving at two islands, Yonaguni with sunken city ruins, and Ishigaki with its Mantas. Diving will be some drift diving and reef diving, with loads of critters and large fish to see. Yonaguni Island, Japan's most westerly point is characterized by it's towering cliffs and dramatic rugged coastline. You'll Enjoy drift driving through Yonaguni's 10,000 year-old ancient underwater city. Water temperatures are in the low 80's. The trip will include, airfare, diving, most meals, accommodiations, transfers etc(Tips not included). Cost estimated between $3600 and $3900 per person. A day of tours in tokyo is also included, as well as small tours on both islands.
